Horsehair Raku fired, this series was set aside for Lunar New Year celebrating the year of the horse. We pull out the Darumas molten hot from the kiln and we place horsehair onto the surface where it instantly lights on fire and makes their patterns.

The eyes are left blank and you set your dream/wish/goal by circling one eye.

Then place on a shelf or sill where your Daruma can observe your progress and keep you on track.

Once you've achieved what you've set out for, you can then circle the other.

It's a sacred offering to yourself.

They all stand approx. 1.75” high - but may be slightly smaller or taller due to hand forming.
